HMD Global-owned Nokia has launched a new smartphone in the mid-segment, dubbed the Nokia 7.1 in India.
The main highlight of the smartphone is the PureDisplay it comes with. The PureDisplay panel spans 5.84-inch and is Full HD+ in nature, coming with an aspect ratio rated at 19:9 for thin bezels.
Another highlight of the Nokia 7.1 is the camera department, which comes with dual cameras at the back, rated at 12-megapixel (f/1.8 aperture) and 5-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture). The rear cameras come with two-phase detection, EIS, and autofocus, and ZEISS Optics lens.
The one at the front stands at 8-megapixel and supports 84-degree wide-angle lens.
The Nokia 7.1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 64GB of inbuilt storage which comes with the option to expand up to 400GB via a memory card.
The smartphone is backed by a 3,060mAh battery, which is expected to charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. The device falls under the Android One initiative, running Android 8.1 Oreo with an OTA update for Android 9.0 Pie.
The smartphone’s real-time SDR to HDR conversion feature is touted to provide users with HDR experience on non-HDR content. Additionally, the Nokia 7.1 sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Nokia 7.1 is priced at INR 19,999 and will be up for grabs, starting December 7.
Furthermore, on the purchase of the Nokia 7.1, Airtel prepaid users will get 1TB 4G data free on recharge of INR 199 plans and above. Postpaid users will 120GB 4G data free with Netflix 3-month subscription and 1-year Amazon Prime subscription on INR 499 plan and above.
