Huawei Caught Again: Uses DSLR Photos For P30 Camera Samples

Huawei is soon to launch its flagship P30 series for which the rumors, official teasers, and promotions are in full swing. Amidst showing off the smartphones’ camera capabilities, Huawei has been found faking the camera samples of the to-be-announced smartphone.

The images (posted on Weibo) which supposedly belong to the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro, in reality, are taken from a DSLR.

The camera samples were originally part of a professional photographer’s portfolio.

Additionally, upon conducting a reverse image search, GadgetMatch found that amongst the various images, the volcano one was clicked way back in 2009.

As a reminder, the Huawei P30 series will come with four cameras, a periscope lens and support for the 7x zoom, for which the company has been picking up bad marketing gimmicks.

To recall, Huawei is not first on the list to fake the camera samples of its smartphones; Samsung did something similar to showcase the Galaxy A8 Star’s camera samples, and the trend has been a prevalent one.

For those who don’t know, the Huawei P30 series will launch at an event scheduled for March 26 in Paris.

Additionally, the P30 series (P30 and P30 Pro) are expected to come with a water drop notched display, in-display fingerprint scanner, multiple RAM/ROM options, and run Android 9.0 Pie.
